又到了一年一度的臺北縣貢寮海洋音樂祭（Hohaiyan Rock Festival）。今年第十一屆的音樂祭將從 7 月 9 日到 11 日在貢寮鄉福隆海水浴場舉行。去年剛剛慶祝完十週年的海洋音樂祭，入場人數超過四十萬人次，已經成為一個夏天傳統，是台灣獨立音樂界的觸目盛事。
除了三天裡面參與演出的三十多位獨立樂團之外，音樂祭的其中一大特色是獎金二十萬元的「海洋獨立音樂大賞」比賽。去年的冠軍是由 Ska/Reggae (雷鬼) 樂隊Matzka & Dihot 奪得，不知道今年又會花落誰家？
有興趣參加比賽的樂隊或音樂人，可到官方網站填寫報名表格，截止日期為 5 月 17 日。
