介紹
魏如萱是台灣流行女歌手，前樂團自然捲主唱，台灣流行女歌手魏如昀為其胞妹。話說從頭，她和創作人奇哥因為因唱片合音的工作相識，便一起組成自然捲樂團，並由如萱擔任自然捲大部份的歌曲演唱。自然捲的多數詞曲創作、錄混音、製作大多由奇哥一手包辦，他們的歌曲主題大部份屬於生活輕鬆小品，以生活大小事為主軸，詞曲幾乎全部來自奇哥的創作。如萱在第二張專輯中她也參與部份詞曲創作。

同年發行了首張手工製作單曲《自然捲》，隔年透過風和日麗唱片行獨立發行第一張專輯《C’est La Vie》，其中〈Only In My Dream〉、〈坐在巷口的那對男女〉與〈自然捲〉更分別成為隆美窗簾、歐蕾「Chocolate-shot」和森永製菓「嗨啾」軟糖的廣告音樂，不但如此更入圍新加坡金曲獎、台灣第16屆金曲獎，如此多樣的成績促使他們再接再厲發表了《C’est La Vie Vol.2 大捲包小卷》、《風和日麗》。

但2006 年時，由於魏如萱因為自己的生涯規劃（喉嚨受傷），就在發行第二張專輯不久後，便前往香港發展，令許多樂迷感到相當可惜。因為其清新甜美的嗓音，一直以來也是自然捲的招牌之一，但是想到以後都不能再聆聽到好聲音，大家都感到好可惜。

2007 年時魏如萱重新出發，並展開多方面的演藝事業生涯。同年，加盟專門代理國外獨立廠牌音樂前衛花園唱片發行第一張個人專輯《La Dolce Vita 甜蜜生活》，大受市場好評，也帶起了屬於她的清新甜蜜的浪潮。

2008 年在參與電影《花吃了那女孩》演出之後，遇到了陳建騏，兩人聯手完成了第一張個人單曲《泡泡》，將自己對於曾經走在、現在走過愛情的叛逆期，逐字逐字的寫下，再利用聲音逐漸將整首歌曲縮寫成聽者心底的情感與感動。除此之外，也參加《幾米音樂劇-向左走向右走》的演出。而魏如萱自2004年起開始擔任中廣音樂網的DJ，主持「Wave愛月光」。

BIOGRAPHY
Being the former lead singer of indie folk pop duo 自然捲 (Natural Q), 魏如萱 (Waa Wei) is a Taiwanese indie pop artist that is known for her sweet distinctive voice.  She has released what are now 2 albums and 1 single under her own name moniker,

Her music career got a start 2003 when she formed the band Natural Q with her friend and colleague 奇哥.  The band, which had 娃娃 (Waa’s pseudonym in the band) on vocals and 奇哥 on instrumentals, grew to become one of Taiwan’s most well respected folk pop rock groups.  In 2006, after releasing 2 albums and a few singles, singer Waa announced that she would be leaving the group due to throat concerns.   After around a year of leave and rest, she returned in 2007 to kickstart her solo career.

Joining up with Taiwan music distributor 前衛花園 (Avant Garden Records), Waa released her first album 甜蜜生活 (La Dolce Vita) in November of 2007.  A full on multi-national affair, the album saw tracks helmed by artists such as Maximilian Hecker from Germany to Mondialito from Japan.  Filled with electronic ambiences and Bossa nova overtones, the album was a unique release in the Taiwan music market and was met with overwhelming reception.  In 2008 she released a 3 track single, 泡泡 (Bubbles) in collaboration with well known music writer and producer 陳建騏 (Chan).   In the same year, Waa also got her feet wet in film and theatre, appearing in both the movie 花吃了那女孩 (Candy Rain) and 幾米音樂劇’s rendition of 向左走·向右走 (A Chance of Sunshine).  In high anticipation, Waa’s second album 優雅的刺蝟 (Graceful Porcupine) was released in late May 2010.
