深厚 Hip Hop 同 Jungle 根底嘅 Om Unit 繼 Footwork, Dubstep 後近年更開始玩起 Drum n’ Bass, 仲喺 Dn’B界兩大頂級廠牌 – Goldie 嘅 Metalheadz 同埋 dBridge 嘅 Exit Records 出碟. Om Unit 造嘅歌出名具啟發性, 更可以駕馭 jungle, footwork, dubstep, hip-hop, drum n’ Bass, slow/fast sound.

BMC 3 years anniversary ft Om Unit, one of the strongest and most consistent artists in the electronic sphere. Solid line up with Kid Fresh, Enso, Subcoat and BMC residents Saiyan & DJ108, MC Upbeat Cynic.

Over the past four years, James Coles, A.K.A .Om Unit, has established himself as one of the most consistent and original artists in the electronic sphere. Based in London, the producer first made his mark with a reworking of JOKER’s ‘Digi Design’, getting the blessing of KODE9 for a white label treatment . Producing since his early teens, he started with jungle before graduating via the world of turntablism under the 2TALL moniker and representing the UK in the DMC world DJ championships.

Om Unit has been refining his unique sound with releases on Goldie’s Metalheadz, dBridge’s Exit Records, Plastician’s Terrorhythm and Civil Music. Via collaborations with Machinedrum (as Dream Continuum on Planet Mu), Mark Pritchard, Kromestar, Fracture and Sam Binga plus his short-lived, much hyped footwork-jungle alias Phillip D. Kick and remixing Joker, Reso, Kramphaft, Starkey, VIVEK, Foreign Beggars, Shigeto, Illum Sphere and more we can see the confluence of all this work takes full flight on his debut album ‘Threads’.
