連續兩年由北京樂隊勝出中國GBOB！這次過江猛龍樂隊名為「保險超人」 (The Amazing Insurance Salesmen) ，由三位不同國籍的樂手組成，鼓手吉他手及貝司手分別來自中國法國及荷蘭。這隊「半唐番」將會遠赴馬來西亞，參加明年二月二十六號舉行旳GBOB全球總決賽，代表中國與其他十六個國家爭奪2010GBOB世界冠軍殊榮。
上星期日（十一月二十一號 )「保險超人」由港龍航空贊助旅程，遠道香港著名音樂場地Sticky Fingers比賽，以其自成一格的「實驗融音 (experimental fusion)」音樂擊敗來自香港、澳門及深圳三地的樂隊代表。十一人評審團都對三位的音樂造詣大表驚訝，其中一位更寫道：「這是我聽過最好的GBOB參賽樂隊。」
上屆GBOB世界冠軍同樣是北京樂隊，對，就是閃耀華麗一見難忘的Rustic，擔當是晚比賽的特別嘉賓。他們去年贏得了總值十萬美金的奬金奬品，包括十天英國巡迴演出，與知名監製合作錄音一周及一萬美元的現金奬，且看今年的中國代表「保險超人」能否重演上年的光輝歴史。
首屆全球GBOB (Global Battle of the Bands) 於二零零四舉行，中國GBOB則於二零零八年加入。GBOB賽規簡單，樂隊須演出兩首共八分鐘的原創歌曲，從另類到金屬到後現代搖滾，風格不限。
